The same complaint. Hip area not cool at all. They were definitely in a hurry 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. Try adding a pocket on opposite side of zipper and see how it looks. The neon colors are poppin! People might not even notice the hip area. Looks really nice when worn with the black zebra print leggings.
The fit around hip area…..Terrible. Hood looks pretty when i put it on. Maybe, next time add a pocket on the opposite side of zipper. I’m trying to make it work.
I will definitely be wearing these with leggings or biker shorts underneath when i go to the gym. Why do the sides around the hip area stick out instead of firming to the body. These look like something i could get from Gabriel Brothers. I should have read the description instead of assuming they are made of cotton like the black hoodie, dress before purchasing. Really like the bright colors and
the wording on the back of the hoodie dress which I didn’t notice yesterday and i like that a lot the way it fits around the hip area is very disappointing. Maybe they should have added a pocket on opposite side of zipper. Hopefully when i wash it for the first time and put it in the dryer that will fix the problem. Ive only tried on the blue one so far. So this review is for the blue hoodie dress. Opened the other 2 and they have that issue as well. Going to go to store to get mesh laundry bags to put the dresses in before putting in washer.

Unfortunately just as pointed out in reviews the outfit looks deformed in the hip area. The hip area protrudes and ard exaggerated.
I love the color and the material! The fit is as pictured and bodycon style. I may size up because I’d like it slightly looser. I’m 5’1 and 158 and I ordered a medium. I don’t see a way to upload a pic.

Fit - hip area sits lower and is made for women with wider hips. Looks a bit awkward. Hoping a wash will relax the material so it doesn’t sit out so wide.

Based on your chart measurements I ordered a 2x. The arm holes and hips are too large. I need to return exchange. The fabric is lighter weight compared to the other items I have from the brand.

The dress was excellent quality as all Actively Black Products are.
The extra small was my second order of this item as I ordered a small first time & the fit was not good. The top portion fit well but the bottom portion was WAY off through the hip area. It was as if a bell was on the bottom.
No all of us are hippie, & the material has a lot of stretch so maybe a little less in the hip area.
It’s the only item that’s not fit properly.
I did not return it & will gift it to someone who has larger hips than I.
